About Foster Hope
Foster Hope was founded out of our family’s personal journey with adoption, specifically through adopting our daughter internationally from Colombia in 2020. Through this experience, we saw firsthand how our community not only lacked real resources for foster and adoptive families but also had a general lack of understanding about the unique needs these families face.
Many people wanted to help but simply didn’t know where to start. The closest resource centers to our home in Bay City were an hour and a half to two hours away, and there were no local support groups available. Out of a desire to ensure that no foster or adoptive family would ever have to walk this path alone, we chose to step out in faith and become the help that was needed.
Foster Hope exists so that every family has not only the physical resources they need but also the heart connections that are absolutely essential to thriving. The best foster and adoptive families are ones that are supported. We truly believe God called us to start this organization to bless our families and to provide hope that only he can offer!
